It's been a long time coming for local Philadelphia personalities, but it's finally happened thanks to the management at WVLT CRUSIN' 92.1
Now the nation and the worldwide web can enjoy what Philadelphia has had for the last 40 years. Sally Starr is on Thursdays 9pm, Bill Webber Sundays at 3pm, Jerry Blavat daily at 5pm, and Ron Joseph 7pm Fridays with his Disco Usa.
Now, the rest of the country will enjoy 92.1 FM 24hrs. a day. What a secret Philadelphia, New Jersey, and Delaware will share with the rest of the world. All these personalities have had a great track record, why not share their joy on radio with the rest of the world
Just go to: www.wvlt.com and hit the listen live button on the right side of the website.

basically , i agree

too bad though, once again , "your gal sal" has been too sick to be on ...did not come on tonight , nor last thursday night

Hmmm, cue the Sesame Street music!

"One of these things just doesn't belong here..."

Congrats to Sally, Bill and the Geator!

Somebody start rolling tape on Friday night at 7pm.

By the way, get well wishes to Sally Starr - she recently turned 85!

In theory, this is a great idea. These are local Celebrities, Why would other people in other States be interested in listening to these folks? I will, because I grew up with them. My wife read the thread and never heard of them. I explained who they were, there was not much of a reaction. This will probably be the reaction here in North Carolina, (and many other places) unless you are a "transplant" or a Radio Professional.

Chapel Hill, North Carolina WHERE DUKE BEAT CAROLINA WEDNESDAY NIGHT ;D ;D ;D ;D

Since you mentioned the Geator, ON WYBE last night, there was a special on Jocko Henderson. the Geator mentioned how Jocko taught him how to work a board, and basically everything he knows. those we're the days of radio PERSONALITIES!!!

While these folks may not be known outside the Delaware Valley, there is much of the Delawre Valley that cannot hear the station. This will give WVLT a better reach in this area, which afterall, is where the advertising potential exists.
