I'm sure we've all read the latest on Cody Alan rumored to be heading to Salt Lake City. Holy culture shock. Wonder who they'll get to drive the bus on the Wolf morning show now.

Salt Lake City's not a bad place. I wouldn't personally wanna live there in the winter, but it's scenic nonetheless. Not to start a side thread, but Cody _is_ a Mormon and SLC is their spiritual center. If he and his family are happy and comfortable with the decision then that's all that matters.

It aint Texas. If you've ever lived there you know what I mean.

That's for sure. But as the other poster stated, if he is a Mormon,
he'll fit right in. From talking to a couple of folks who used to live
in Utah (specifically SLC), about the only way you can be successful
out there is TO BE a Mormon. Others can plod along, but
will never really get to the top.

Hopefully, he'll stay away from any remote broadcasts from
Juniper Creek, and keep to ONE wife in the family! ;D

I've never understood polygamy. Isn't one woman nagging you bad enough?

LMAO, good one.

As for SLC, I've actually read that only half of its metro population is mormon these days. Hell, 10 percent of the market is Hispanic, and I'm guessing very few of them have changed their religious allegiance.
Also cant forget about Karl Malone :p

The "one woman" comment was classic. :D

Two of my best friends live there and they are Catholic and they say the moment they mention they are not Mormon, people thumb their nose at them. Not to mention, the Mormon Elders tend to frequent their house in recruitment efforts. So, if you're not Mormon, it's not the best place to be.
