Unfortunately they didn't preview WIBBAGE'S best years 56-68 as their biggest jocks, Niagra, Lit, Feller, Wright Sr,...it was the declining year airchecks that was mostly played that I heard. It seems like Hyski's, and Niagra's airchecks of their peak years are not much available. You'll find them on WOGL, WSNI, WPEN, but not much on WIBBAGE years 56-68 for some reason.

Seemed like they didn't have a big selection of airchecks to choose from for this show. They had the ones they used for the original September '04 version, plus a couple three others. I've heard many more airchecks on some other salutes. I understand that airchecks are hard to come by for some stations/eras, but I wouldn't think that would be the case for WIBG.

Still, all in all, a great show. BTW, I have a copy I can post on yousentit if anyonw is interested. I recorded it off DirectTV for the best sound. It includes everything but the Sweet 16 Music Machine.

It may not have been perfect..but hey..what is?? But it was nice to hear it, listen to the old jingles and hear some great music. You don't hear this being done on AM or FM. Congrats on at least attempting to do it.

if this is a dupilicate i apologize.....

perhaps the niagra estate has airchecks....also i have to believe hyski would contribute of asked...

also.....can't be sure but some of the old morning show airchecks sounded like Bill Wright Sr. ???!!
