Is anyone familiar with SAM Broadcaster. I have a friend using it for web streaming. I plan on installing an Optimod-PC 1100 to process the audio since the built in audio processor sounds terrible. How would I configure the software to use the Optimod 1100, rather than the built in processor?
 
Are you talking about routing the audio internally, from the output of the 1100 to the input of the encoder?
While I'm not too familiar with those products, I use a program called Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) to route audio from the output of a software AGC (MBL4 V.4) to the input of our Windows Media Encoder. We are a talk format--works very well with consistent levels....
 
I just spoke to Greg O. at Orban and he explained it to me. Should be fairly simple....

I'll update the post after I set up the machine.
 
It's pretty easy, have SAM playout to the Orban card as it's output device as you would for any soundcard. The only different part is the encoding, click on dropdown in the encoder window and select the Optimod PC1100 as the recording source instead of "audio pipeline"
