I heard it's laryngitis. Sam's a trooper; he'll be back when he gets well.
And it's only been 1wk and a few days.

It's become 2 weeks and change. Can laryngitis be that bad? Could Sam have had a throat operation?

We must miss how he pronounces the call letters real bad. :

He can't say "K-Y-W" for the life of him. But I enjoy hearing him and Harry i the morning.

Sam could say "KAY-WHY-DOUBLE-YOU" instead of "KEEEBBBEEEDOO" if someone MADE him, but apparently that has never been an issue with KYW management.

Sam Clover is due back after New Year's... we told him to rest up after a really nasty cold. According to KYW Newsradio twitter page.
