I live in Hattiesburg and I must say that I became alarmed when I read your post. Having just checked, I can gladly report that Rock 104 is STILL Rock 104 and has been for over 11 years. :) You must have been receiving Vicksburg's 104.5fm.
 
Oops, Glad to hear Rock 104 in Hattisburg is still on. I didn't know there was a Sam in Vicksburg. The reason for the mixup is because due to the conditions lately some of the Hattisburg stations, mainly 104.5 and the Fox on 103.7 has been booming almost into Jackson. You can also hear SL100, 99.3, 95.9 and 98.1 late night or early morning. The Fox has been coming in so good it obliterates WLEZ 103.7 in Jackson down to a couple of miles (it only covers a few miles anyway)

and it all started with jack fm jackson..i personally like waza 107.7 liberty..playing all the hits a-z waza...how original :D
