SAM FM

From Dial-Global
Sam 103.9 London, Kentucky is one of the affilates.
You all ever heard of this one? They sound ok. They are a lot better than what our former (93.7 Mike FM) was in Boston. Sam FM sounds much better.
Your thoughts?
Hope you all enjoy

Here in VA there is a SAM FM at 105.5 WOJL. ITs OK, but they tend to play a bit too much Lady GaGa, Christina Aguilera, and that sort of stuff for my tastes. They also like their commercial breaks too. No announcers. All voice-tracked with no news, or local info at all.

We have a SAM FM here WRKX 95.3 Ottawa Illinois. They do insert local news six times per day. Three times in morning drive and three times in afternoon drive plus local weather and comunity events announcements during some comercail breaks. I did find a SAM FM affiliate that does stream. http://www.sam94.com/ Our local SAM FM is the only terestrial radio station I listen too. I do wish they had actual announcers instead of that generic voice trakced guy who I'm guessing is supposed to be Sam.

SAM stands for Simply About the Music. Or, something like that. That's why there are no jocks, etc.
