Sam sylk to a city near you!

Apparently, Radio One has decided to syndicate The Sam Sylk Show to it's Urban Oldies, OLD SCHOOL 100.3 in Philly. The show originates from Radio One's Urban AC, 93.1 WZAK out of Cleveland, OH. He's no stranger to Philly where he once did mornings at Clear Channel Urban, POWER 99.

Dont be surprised if Radio one Syndicates Colby colb from Z107.9 on Hot 107.9 in Philly
And moves Q deezy to mornings

Good for Sam Sylk. He also has some WGCI and WPWX heritage I believe.

Really still disappointed that Chaz Saunders wasn't brought back after 95.5 went Old School in St. Louis. C'mon Radio One!

Really? Colby has his run in Philly during 07/08 when HOT was THE BEAT. I don't see Radio One syndicating him at all. I will say Radio One Philly is all over the place since the entire cluster has re imaged over and over again! Philly seems to be the only market using out of town jocks. My girl Maria More syndicates middays on HOT 107.9 Philly from HOT 107.9 here in ATLanta.

Judging from the ratings, young people here, in philly, STILL dislike syndicated jocks. I'm over 40 and I can't remember ANY syndicated jocks, without a previous local connection, EVER doing well here. These conglomerates need to stop acting like Philly will accept what they try in other markets. If I didn't work before the internet, I highly doubt young people will accept it now.

Sam Sylk is not going into national syndication. They're trying to cut costs and simulcasting instead of paying for two jocks. They do the same thing with Courtney Hicks in DC/Detroit, middays on the two Hot 107.9's and Lonnie Hunter on the Praise stations.

About colby colb it might be time for him to move over to WZAK he's one of my Idols in radio but you can only relate to the hip-hop crowd for so many years Mabye he could do a Syndicated hip-hop show on Radio-ones Urban ac stations id love that
