What happened to Sam on wired? before Chio started the papers said that Sam and

Funny you should mention that...

Kannon, with a fricken K, did an incredibly unprofessional and unnecessary job, on air mind you, of explaining that although Wired was only 2 years old they were going through their 4th morning show. Kannon, with a fricken K, then went on to explain the departure of each previous morning show, and how great it was to have Chio (Ryan pointed out it was Chio, not Chico - in reference to the web error they were caught on) as their "new" morning show. I think he even called Q102 "crappy"...hmmm, hello pot, this is kettle.

The Sam reason was that his wanted to go back to Hawaii and live with his family. Sounds a little familiar, no?

Yes, I WAS listening...and yes, I WAS listening at times this week...but I found the show was so very lame (not David Weave Roth level of lameness, but close) that I could no longer tollerate Justice's mouth full of marbles and Newwwyaaaawwwwwwkkkk-innnn-daaaa-hiiiiiizzzzzzzzooouuuuuusss ady-tude.

Best of luck fellahs, you're gonna need it.

Sam tried to speak over Chio once, Justice had him "taken care of" maybe I've said too much. Wexler, we should get protection.

I <strike>enjoyed</strike> liked the first show...but not since....I usually don't get judgemental on these boards, but I 100% agree regarding Justice. He is the *producer*, and should be *producing*. The website doesn't list him as the co-host. Ryan & Casey are. Half the time it seems like it is the Justice show. Which would be perfectly fine except the name of the show is CHIO IN THE MORNING. Heck, he's even featured more prominatley on the Wired965.Com website then Chio.

That being said, I've listened to Chio for over 15 years, dating back to when Chio The Hitman did night's on Z100/WHTZ-NY. He's a good jock, and know's his stuff. The show needs time to fine tune. It's been a week. It is WAY too early to judge. Personally if it was up to me, I'd bring over Diego Ramos from Q. They had good chemistry on the air together. Same w/ Lisa.

That's my 1.25 cents (Governor Corzine took the other .75)...

Damnit, Justice..

Justice, seriously.. do yourself some justice (ha, I made a pun) and shut the hell up. Your job is "Producer" of the Chio in the Morning show. Said job being described as follows:

1) Assemble daily prep material.

2) Assemble audio sound clips for each show and load them, as necessary, into the automation and/or 360 ShortCut/VoxPro/Instant Replay for playback.

3) Coordinate the booking of guests for the Chio in the Morning show.

4) Assemble to above pieces into a rough plan for each day's show, to be coordinated with planning done by Chio himself.

5) Prepare "Best of" shows for holidays, vacations, and/or emergency use.

6) Prepare the daily show promo within the first hour of the show being off air for the day to run in that day's promo rotator cart.

7) Deliver sports information, as noted in that day's show plan, during the broadcast of Chio in the Morning.

8) Assist Chio, as he requests, with on-air activities inside the show.

9) OPTIONAL-- Run the control board during the show.

10) Assist phone screener with their duties.

Notice what ISN'T in that list of general duties?

Internet Bodyguard for Chio's nuts... oh, excuse me, Internet Threaten-to-Kick-People's-Asses-Who-Don't-Like-the-Show Boy.

Oh yes, isn't it rather fitting that your Myspace user name is "morningTOOL?"

Thanks,

Just tell O&A you took their "FU Line" bit, it's so painfully obvious!

Re: Damnit, Justice..

dear wish i really was a Program Director.

a title is just that ... a title.... please dont try to tell me how to do my job or what it really intails... there are producers of morning shows making 7 figures do they have the same duties as the producer getting paid by the hour??? so you just sit back and keep listening and I will continue to do MY JOB ..if you dont like how i do it you have that right ... but you would have to know what my job really is and what i really do behind the scenes and it is plain to see that you don't know what it is I do....

thanks for the advice though

Your Idol

Re: Damnit, Justice..

Thank you very much for proving my exact point.

You are in market #6. ACT LIKE IT. When you haul your ass onto this board, at 12:30am on a Friday night (shouldn't you be at a club appearance with your meal ticket, oops, I mean FRIEND, Chio?) and act like a child, you do nothing but make your station look bad. And, you're right, I'm not truly your Program Director... BUT, I can tell you this:

If I WAS your Program Director and I observed you doing some of the crap that you've been doing on this board, you would NOT be the "Executive Producer" of the morning show on Monday morning. Hell, you probably wouldn't even make it to Saturday afternoon before I fired you for the way you're acting.

Concentrate on your JOB, not responding to people on a message board.<P ID="signature">______________

was it O&A that started it or the regular guys in Atlanta..??? just wait till we play our new game battle of the sexes!!!

if you would like me to list off the shows that i get some my ideas from i can do that for you and save you the time og googleing them. I am a true student of morning radio and yes I am very influenced by shows I respect and unlike most people I speak to the shows I get my ideas from thats why morning shows join bit sharing websites ETC so we can SHARE great ideas ...but then again most of you have no clue about morning radio just a bunch of wannabe radio guys
sorry I guess I am not talented enough to come up with four hours of all original bits and ideas everyday for the two hundred or so shows we do a year...

Well, at least you claim you are a student of morning radio. Lord knows you're obviously not a student of sentence structure and the proper uses of the period and comma! <P ID="signature">______________

Re: Damnit, Justice..

I'm at the station doing work if you really wanted to know
....you would fire me for messing with wannabe radio guys on a mess. board...lol thats just another reason why you will never be a real programer... my PD laughs at most of the people who post here ...he has seen all of what I have written ..and i'm still here ...wow....

Just an FYI nobody who is actually in radio cares about what people write here ...I come here on the weekends because it gives me a good laugh so keep posting about me ...let's think about it ..on a friday night your thinking about me ...thats so special thanks for the "love"

keep listening the wired 96.5!!!<P ID="signature">______________

Re: Damnit, Justice..

Absolutely, I would fire you. Why? For acting like a child on a message board potentially accessible to our listening audience, thus possibly making a negative impact on our listener's mind in regard to the way we, as radio station employees, conduct ourselves off-mic, that's why. If your "PD laughs at most of the people who post here," I ask you then, Mr. Justice, two questions:

1) Does that mean he's probably laughing at YOU, too?

2) Does that mean he's just as big of a fool as you are for being on this board?

For that matter, I'd question whether or not your PD truly HAS seen all the drivel that you've posted here? I take it, Mr. Justice, that you would have no problem with me emailing screenshots of all your posts to Leo Baldwin, then? What if I were to email those same screeshots to George and Bruce Beasley? Maybe even Patricia Traupman Russell?

As I've said previously, Justice.. you are in market SIX. Act like it.

Re: Damnit, Justice..

Legitimate discussion, perhaps?

And, before you go off on another rant, I would not call your contributions to this board "legitimate discussion." I wonder what the higher ups in Beasley Broadcasting will say when they read the email I just sent?<P ID="signature">______________

Re: Oh so wrong, oh so stupid.

See, this is where you are incredibly wrong.

Ever hear of the following positions Lassie?

Broadcast Superviser
Account Executive / Client Services
Media Planner
Media Buyer

Where the f*ck do you think they get their "in side scoop" about a station? How about the guy that published the "no talent ass clown" incident in the city's largest news paper?

Right here you dope.

Keep up the good work Lassie, you are going to show us all how to run a morning show! I am confident this will be your last job in Philly.

As a LISTENER... YOU JUST LOST ME TO WIRED. I was going to give the show a chance, but it truly is going down hill quick. Beasly.. good luck!
