KHYT 1330 AM Tucson to KHYT 107.5 Tucson. Not quite clear on the timeline.

Add one COL:
KHYT 1330 Tucson...to...KHYT 1330 South Tucson...to...KHYT 107.5 Tucson.

The one mile square town of South Tucson just had to have its own station. ;)
But that did let KHYT go from daytimer to full-time.

There are several in Houston that have done this, but the two that stand out for me are KTHT and KILE.

Started off at 1230 then moved to 790 in the 60's/early 70's. 790 dropped the calls for KULF callsign in the mid 70's, then KTHT showed up on TV at Ch. 67 in '86. 67 dropped the calls when they went to Home Shopping Network ('89?) and KTHT was resurrected at 97.1 Cleveland, Texas when "Hot 97.1" debuted in 2001. Calls remained when KTHT reformatted as "Country Legends" in '03.

Then there's KILE, which started life in Galveston at 1400. In the 80's 1400 dropped KILE and they were resurrected in Port Lavaca at 1560. 1560 then uprooted from Port Lavaca in the 90's and brought the KILE calls back to Houston when they upgraded and licensed the station to Bellaire, Texas.
