At the risk of detouring the thread, I know of a single tower that carries both Kxxx and Wxxx under the same ownership...but that's FM and not TV.

(Don't think this challenge has been ignored )

But do you know the answer?

KXXX was in San Francisco on 99.7 from 1988-1990.

CHAS is on an FM station (100.5) in Sault Ste. Marie.

Well, Scott, I tried cheating & it didn't help.. they may be on the same tower, but they're licensed to different cities... I was just about certain it was KUWS and WUWS but no joy there...

I found eight cases where the K and W versions of a call are licensed to cities with the same name. In six of those eight cases, the cities are in different states. (KELY & WELY in the Elys in Nevada & Minnesota; KROC and WROC on the Rochesters in Minnesota & New York; etc...)

In the two cases where they're in the same state, they're on different towers. (and indeed, one of the two stations in each case is AM)

(anyone besides Scott know which four stations -- which two cities -- I'm talking about?)

As you might guess, in most cases where the K and W versions of the same call are in cities of the same name, the calls are mnemonic of the city. K/WELY in Ely, K/WROChester, etc... However, in two cases the link between the calls and the city names are very tenuous at best. Again, anyone know which two cities I'm talking about?
