Sammy Allred & Bob Cole "Reunion Show"

KDRP community radio in Dripping Springs is announcing that Bob Cole will guest on Sammy Allred's weekly show this Monday, Apr. 16, 8-10am. I wonder if any beans will be spilled.
 
Interesting. Wish KDRP was a full powered station I would record it. I would need to have my main stereo on with the antenna to be able to pull in 100.1.
 
I just noticed on their station list that they're using an HD subchannel from Emmis. THAT's how they'll be able to feed the 100.1 translator if they move forward with plans to move it to Austin.

I am listening to them online now, they really sound good, see CC you can still have good talk radio in the morning, with out trying to "compete" with your own station formats.

They aught to just flip KGSR to simulcast KDRP.

It was just a one time deal. Sammy does a show on Mondays and Bob was just a one day guest.
 
Fred, did I hear Bob say that you were there to do a TV segment about the show? I'm sure the admins wouldn't mind if you posted a link to the video & I'd sure like to see it.

What a great idea! Wouldn't it be great if all noncoms followed that rule.
 
Kinky Friedman called in during the broadcast and was informed on-air that he couldn't plug some project he was involved in. When asked if he had anything else to talk about, he replied "I got nothing." They had a good laugh over that.
