107.5 KXTN HD1 - KXTN 107.5

I do not have an HD AM receiver, however there aren't much HD stations there.

91.7 KRTU HD has been off since last year or the year before that. I thought KRTU HD2 was supposed to rebroadcast the R&B format of KROV. KROV is actually getting together an LP-FM on 99.9, so maybe KRTU HD is off for a reason?

94.1 KTFM HD has been off, yet 103.3 is still on with no primary station. Another Alpha signal, it so happens. :p

I just noticed that KTFM 94.1's HD is on, but the signal's weak on the northside. Apologies if it was on before and I just didn't receive it.

KZEP 104.5's HD is currently down, I can confirm. Q 101.9's HD is strong and they're from the same location.

Noticed the same thing.
SA has always had less HD2 signals than other cities. It has gotten better recently in terms of how many channels there are, but many of them just simulcast other stations right now, especially Cox's HD signals. I expect though that this will change, and some original programming will be added to the HD signals after they're done testing them. At least I hope so. LOL

Cox never used HD for anything but rebroadcasting the originating station here in Connecticut. The Cox stations were sold to Connoisseur and then to a group of non-radio hedge fund managers or something. Still no sign of HD2 or HD3 being used on any of those stations.

Cox rarely uses HD multicasts anywhere, though it does use KWEN 95.5 HD2 in Tulsa to run the Christian format it displaced when it launched an FM simulcast on its signal. It also runs the CCM format on its cable FM service along with its other stations there.

Seems like I heard Cox was using WSB-FM 98.5 HD2 to fill the citygrade translator it has for North Georgia Country 106.1/107.1 in Atlanta as well.

To bad HD Radio never really made it. I liked the idea it sounds great in my car, but to bad it didn't make a go of it.

I wish Cox would re-broadcast KKYX on Majic 105.3 HD2 instead of KONO. What's the point in re-broadcasting kono?
