SAN DIEGO BALLOON PARADE

I was very surprised that a friend of mine in Dallas, TX told me how they were watching the San Diego Balloon parade on television in their city.

What San Diego station/satellite syndicator was broadcasting the parade for stations around the country to carry?

I didn't see what it was but there was some weird parade on MY TV 59 yesterday morning instead of NewsChannel 8 at 7 on MY TV 59. (It's really called MY TV 9 because of their cable position, but I think it's stupid so I call it MY TV 59 since they're channel 59).

I'm not too surprised, actually. I know that this does happen sometimes. I'm in Boston, and my ABC affiliate (WCVB) was showing the Orlando Citrus Parade, produced by WFTV.
