4. KIOZ
5. KMYI
6. KPBS
7t. XTRA
7t. KHTS
7t. KWFN

18-34:
1. XHRM
2t. XTRA
2t. KPBS
4. KXSN
5. KMYI
6. KBZT
7t. KHTS
7t. KSON
7t. KWFN

10t. KSSX

18-49:
1. KLNV
2. XHRM
3. KXSN
4t. KMYI
4t. KIOZ

The Nielsen field for call letters is 4 characters long. So the "E" or "H" as the second letter of Mexican calls is eliminated. They have even worse challenges with the 6 letter calls.

As always, error listing 91X as XTRA. Also, Z90 as KHTZ!

XETRA - 91X
XHITZ - Z90

Complain to Research Director. I report the calls the way they do.

(Actually, complain to Nielsen, which insists that calls have to be three or four letters.)

Obviously, the XHTZ/KHTZ was a typo. (My problem there is that 97.1 here in L.A. had the KHTZ calls for a while in the late 70s/early 80s sp they are imprinted in my mind.)

A bit surprised KFBG (with a pretty mass-appeal Variety Hits format) doesn't show in those demo rankings. They're in the top 10 in 6+. Yeah, yeah: I know 6+ is meaningless for sales. But still, there's often a very rough correlation...

Always great to see KIOZ do well. Rock radio when programmed correctly (unlike KEGL in Dallas) is still capable of posting great numbers.

Speaking of Tijuana radio stations why does the RDS when listed call letters incorrected identify Tijuana radio stations. Also, I notice it does the same thing up in Canada instead of using X for Mexico or C for Canada it uses W or K for example. XHITZ display as KHTZ or WHTZ and same thing for XETRA either KXTA or WXTA?

Most likely RDS lacks the functionality to read call letters unless they are in the U.S. sequence, but that's just an educated guess.
