San Diego radio jobs

What is the situation in San Diego regarding full or part time radio jobs? I am looking to relocate in the next month or so and want to know what I'll be up against. Any assistance or advice would be appreciated!

Well, Clear Channel owns most of the town and they have been on a layoff binge back East and I expect it will reach their western stations soon (Clear Channel has been sold but the same idiots will be running it). Beyond CC, there is very little turnover in the other SD stations. Unless you're a morning superstar, San Diego radio pay has traditionally been very low and combined with some of the highest housing costs in the country, it helps to have a spouse or significant other with a very good job. Despite that, this is a great place to live, so people with radio jobs here tend to hold on to them and you don't see many people here quitting gigs to go to other markets, and come Decemember even unemployed radio people here tend to think, "Better unemployed in San Diego than employed in Buffalo (or Rochester, or Detroit, or KC, etc).
