San Diego Sports Station says it has Patrick

A report published at signonsandiego.com quotes the XX Sports Radio PD as saying the station would have Dan Patrick's new show beginning Oct. 1, delayed from its 9-noon PT live airing. Anyone else hear from other stations?

More revelations: The Fresno Bee reports that KFIG will be airing Dan Patrick live beginning Oct. 1. Also, Dan Patrick stated he will post information about the new show next week in his blog.

Live it will be a three hour potential lead in to Romey from what I've been told...someone potentially mentioed Premiere involved in syndicating? That doesn't seem logical to me. Probably just gossip BS... anyone else hear more?

Live, the show competes in all the same hours as Romey. Which stations will go with the same ol' gonzo same 'ol, and which will go for something new, yet with a very familiar host more identified as a sports journalist than as a sports critic?

Actually in the Houston Chronicle and other media outlets it has been reported that Dan's new show is 9a-12p EST, 6a-9a PST. The article also mentioned how Dan does not want to compete with Rome.

"Twenty percent, meanwhile, want KFNC to pick up the new Dan Patrick Show, which will be syndicated by the Chicago-based Content Factory. Chris Crane, the company's managing partner, said the show will begin in mid-September and will air live from 8-11 a.m"

According to Ohio Media Watch, Dan's also cleared SNR affiliate WARF/1350 in Akron live from 9am-12pm. It's a return of sorts, as that station did have his show more than a decade ago when they were WTOU "1350 ESPN." (At one point, 1350 even aired Dan back-to-back in the 4p-7p slot.)

The irony: WARF's always operated as an Akron station, but does have better coverage in the Cleveland area than his most recent afffiliate, "KNR2" WWGK/1540. WWGK's locked up with ESPN and FSR, and have already committed to Mike Tirico - plus they are a modest 1,000 watt daytimer.

The bad news: it all but forces out Tony Bruno off the schedule... which is the only reason why I listen to them in the first place.

Yes... Premiere is syndicating though
And as I mentioned earlier it IS live from 8-11am CST but they are making it where you can air it about any time you want. The contract allows you to chose when you want to carry it...

New 'Dan Patrick Show' debuts 8 to 11 a.m. on WTLX-FM/100.5.

I believe Premiere is distributing and selling ads in the show, but The Content Factory is doing affiliations.
