San Fran stations in Sacremento?

Actually, it seems like 107.3 (EMF-K-Love) may have one of the best signals in the Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto-East Bay Area.

Indeed they do - with a grandfathered height and power that could not be licensed today. Not sure if this link will show up correctly, but give it a try:

https://maps.google.com/?q=http://t...=107.3&contour=54&city=LIVERMORE&state=CA.kml

The shadowing to the Northwest is actually more pronounced than the map shows, but still...

I find it really funny when I'm east of the East Bay Area hills, I get two stations branded as "Now". SF's Rhythmic CHR on 99.7 and Sac's white-washed Adult CHR on 100.5 so close on the dial.

Both are CBS stations.

Depending where you are around Sacramento, KOIT/96.5 is fairly listenable. As are the grandfathered Beacon Hill stations (97.3, 98.1, 106.9). Closer to the valley than San Bruno and higher ERP. KQED/88.5 is also very listenable in the valley with the 100kw+ signal.

KOIT is listenable because of no adjacent channel interference (96.3 & 96.7 clear in Sac).

Same for the Bay Area, most Sacramento FM's are tough to catch due to adjacent channel local signals. I have picked up 93.7 & 96.9 in different areas around San Francisco because the adjacent's are absent.
