Im glad that San Fran's 2 Clear Channel Rhythmic stations are now sounding much better. Kmel is now more Urban than they once where, and Wild 94.9 is now having more of a Pop Dance lean,, resembling that of a Rhythmic Leaning CHR almost.. I just think its great to see both stations working hard to sound different and fill the Niche,, cause for several years you couldnt tell much difference in Wild and KMEL.. I think the new Movin played a factor in this, since they went Rhythmic leaning CHR, and thankfully dropped the Flopping Rhythmic AC format...

Both stations are great actually, especially WiLD's mixshows. Movin 99.7 is good too.

KMEL has always been urban(for the most part). It is still great, although I still don't know why Big Von is on for 7 hours on the weekdays, and they need to play more West Coast songs. They play too much South music(i.e. Gucci Mane), but, it's all good. I wish KMEL was on the airwaves in Sac, but thanks to the Spanish station on that dial, I have to listen to KMEL online.

To me, 92.7 KREV and KMVQ 99.7 are making 94.9 tweak their playlist, as a few years ago WILD 94.9 had the CHR Rhythmic all to themselves in the Bay Area. Movin 99.7 came along eventually, but at first they had a format different enough not to directly compete with 94.9. Eventually 99.7 morphed into a Top 40/Rhythmic some months back. 92.7 came along too, bringing even more competition to 94.9. But it seems that 92.7 hasn't made much of a dent in the ratings compared to 94.9 and 99.7.
