SANDUSKY - MARION - MANSFIELD - FINDLAY?

Sandy Bennett's in Columbus now? I used to date ::) her. I remember when she went by Charlie McVie on WGAR. Last I heard Charlene she was doing evenings on MJI a few years ago.
Regardless...Kathy Hague's voice tracks are done on WCPZ. She up & quit Lima Friday. Smart move!!! J.J Jones & Mike Lowery will take turns filling in(no extra pay of course!) Good luck with the racing Kath! Interesting to see who'll take her Morning show over & her other v/t shift!

According to my sources Randy applied for the WMVX PD gig, and lost out to Don Hallett. Nothing against Randy, but Hallet's resume is certainly more impressive. So the "Randy is a WCPZ mainstay" is not true. He was trying to "get out" after 20 years, albeit not that far going from Sandusky to Cleveland. Randy needs to either get out and get a higher profile gig elsewhere, or deal with the fact that he's a big fish in a very, very small unrated pond. He should've went for the WWWM/STAR 105 Toledo gig when it was open. Toledo is at least a rated market. Gives the resume some weight. Like it or not it matters.

Randy has been holding steady for a LONG time. Since the passing of his mother, other than his son being there....not much holding him to Santown. I agree....get the HELL out of that damned market. Unfortunately the BIG FISH ~ small pond theory doesn't work in Sandusky....there's too many small fish THINKING they are BIG fish. Pretty sad actually. Randy is a hell of a nice guy and I'd love to see him move into another arena to stretch his wings.

I agree. Randy is one of the nicest and classiest guys in the business. I hope this all works out well for him.

T.R CANNED FROM CHEAPCHANNEL CLEVELAND!!!

It's true...after 30 years in Cleveland(most notably a veteran Buzzard jock) the Corporate Monster swallowed him up & & regurgitated him. How low can ya get?

FYI-CC Sandusky has received a firm offer for the cluster. Not sure who yet but there is an offer on the table.

Is this Mikey from North Ridgeville that's friends w/ Rick Bell? :D :D :D
