Personally, I don't see Hubbard changing the status quo since KQMV, KRWM and KLCK seem to be doing well ratings wise.
Which surprised me most of all, as Mike Brewer mentioned: On TOP of having a number one (or very well rated) station in nearly every big demo actually listening on PPM, was they sold it all for what amounts to chump change for Bill Gates.
I expected something like at
LEAST $200 ML for an outfit like this. Or at least (you'd
think), next to the KOMO and the, remaining, KING empire would be SLIGHTLY sold for at
least something (or CLOSE TO) as good?
Seattle seems to be a hot property right now.
But I think this more accurately describes the actual state of corporate radio than any rant I could EVER come up with. And this is the TRUTH.....It's getting CHEAP.
And values WILL go DOWN. A few spikes, But no BIG trend.....
