Sangean DAR=101 Digital Desktop recorder

I am wondering if anyone here uses the Sangean DAR-101 Recorder for recording DX reception. From the description, this seems ideal and versatile. It has a choice of inputs, and records on SD cards. It has a built-in timer for unattended recordings.

I've been using digital voice recorder, but the controls are very small. I'm tempted to get the Sangean.

I usually just use a pocket Minidisc machine with line-in jack, myself. From experience, SD is waaayy tttoooooo sllllllllooooooowwwwwwww.

I use a Sony voice recorder similar to the ICD-PX312. It has a stereo 3.5mm input and records in MP3. It has 2GB built in storage and the newer models also allow an microSD card. It runs on AA batteries but can also be powered from the USB port.

Its pretty basic but it gets the job done. Its cheap and it doesn't give off noticeable interference like recording from a laptop would, especially with AM. The Sangean recorder does look pretty nice with a lot more features.
