I'm getting the Sangean HDR 1 HD soon, I was wondering since I see in photos that is only has a telescope rod FM antenna, does it also have an external connection for FM antenna ?

Sangean HDR 1 HD -FM Antenna Question

It's a screw-on dipole antenna. The external connection is there (as like the Radiosophy HD100). Look at the pictures on Amazon to be sure.
I can't seem to see a external connection there...do you mean i need to un screw the rod antenna to connect the external antenna ?
