Sangean HDR-18 And Terk AM Advantage Antenna

I just bought a Sangean HDR-18. I also resurrected my Terk AM Advantage antenna. When I bought the Terk antenna years ago, it did not come with a wire to connect the antenna to the radio. The current manual states: "The Terk AM Advantage Indoor Antenna is a highly sensitive AM radio antenna that requires no connection to your radio." I noticed on the website that it now comes with a 6.75' wire with twin leads. Is it worthwhile to add that wire? It looks like it is a standard common plug of some sort. Where would be good place to buy that?

The wire has tinned leads at one end and a standard 1/8” (3.5mm) plug (mono) on the other end. The plug goes into a matching jack on the antenna itself. I’ve gotten slightly better results with that cable compared to induction, but I think you’ll want to experiment for your own environment.
