Sangean WFR-28 Internet Radio Stations Cutting Out

If you can please leave this thread in this forum, this forum seems to get the most attention and I'm just reaching out to see if anyone else is having a similar problem. The internet stations are cutting out, reloading a few seconds later, but they keep cutting out every few minutes.

It is the Sangean WFR-28, uses Frontier Silicon, is anybody else experiencing this, it just started a few days ago, trying to figure out if it is the radio or the streaming service they use, multiple stations so I don't believe it is a station issue.

Not a wifi signal issue as it still happens with the radio right next to the wifi router and the full signal bars.

Thanks for any help you can offer. I wil try emailing Frontier Silicon.

This isnt the forum for this

All the stations use various streaming companies, so its not the streaming services.. its likely your radio or a fault in the router or internet connection

Thanks, if you can leave this thread here for a little bit of time, have a relative who depends on internet radio for four or five hours a day, even if some WIFI experts can chime in, I think it might have had to do with the local neighbor traffic as there were a couple of parties, heavy wifi use, possibly changing the router from auto to a specific channel, Mac diagnostics points to a certain channel as the best option, or trying 5ghz since not many people seem to be using it in the neighborhood.

Thanks again, stay safe.

I was seriously considering a Sangean internet radio a couple of months ago. Sangean is a brand I'm inclined to trust. But some of the reviews pointed out some connection issues, etc. So between that and the fact that my iphone connects perfectly, plays great, and sounds great through bluetooth speakers and headphones, I decided to back off.
