SANTOS ON 1510AM = A HYPOCRITE!

HE'S NOT OUR GUY!

I'll give you a few examples why.

TALK OF TRAINS: Unless Jeff Santos takes the train to work or walks then he's HYPOCRITICAL!!!

JOBS: With the format he brought to that station all being national shows, I'm sure that station had to let go of employees, so he actually hurt jobs by not being more local progressive talk. HYPOCRITICAL!!!

UNIONS: IBEW is a paid advertiser. How many of Jeff's employees are part of a union? At a pay for time station how many are even full-time? AGAIN HYPOCRITICAL!!!

HEALTHCARE: Promotes Tuft's on the air. How many of Jeff's employees (or referring to last statement), employees of the station have Tuft's Healthcare? I'm gonna guess 1.....that being Jeff Santos! VERY HYPOCRITICAL!!!

On every level of what he talks about he's a hypocrite! He's all about making a name for himself!

He doesn't listen to us as progressive's! He doesn't exemplify our virtues!

Progressive talk on WWZN mainly replaced syndicated programming from On-on-One Sports, which, back then, was owned by WWZN's former owner (who sold the station at least a year before Santos began buying time there). Some locally produced programming may have been eliminated or bumped to new time slots, but it was leased time--and those are the breaks in leased time. I'm no fan of Santos's either, but if jobs at WWZN were eliminated, I don't think you can blame him.

How many employees does Santos has? He's buying time at the station...not part of management. The local
sports shows (also bought time?) moved to other slots; I tuned in last night around 11 pm and the Young
Guns were on ("we may also talk about the Stanley Cup finals; Pitts. has forced a seventh game") I don't
know how many of the local sports guys were displaced but if so, at least they still have a slot.

Speaking of healthcare, Col David Hunt won the presidency of Howie Carr Nation...and he joked that his
sister who works at Harvard Pilgrim got their employees to stuff the ballot box. H-P has been a major
advertiser at WRKO and they may have been influential in the station's decision to bounce John DePetro
(had complained, etc.)

Also a WWZN host got mentioned by Dan Rea but not in a good way. A caller complimented Rea on his
show (someone who said they used to go up to New England and would listen to Air America which had
been on in New England at the time) and Rea said someone has sent him a tape of Ed Schultz going on a
rant after a caller mildly disagreed with him. He really put down Schultz. Rea didn't mention that Schultz's
show currently airs in Boston (and hey, why would he--the competition) and for all I know Rea may have
been unaware of Schultz's presence in Boston or what WWZN was currently doing.

A stellar example of what happens when someone goes off their meds...

Nice try at hyperbole, but we're not buying it. He's a talk-show host. He's expected to have opinions. I'd wager you have some opinions on some things that you've never personally experienced, so should we call you a hypocrite too???

It has nothing to do with views, it has everything to do with selling ads.

Santos saw a need, he filled it, people will listen (or not) and spots will be sold to companies who are trying to get whatever demographic 1510 is targeting into their place of business

Santos makes money off it, he doesn't have to practice what he preaches as with most talkers, it's an act.

They are no different than the evangelical preachers (of the moral majority type) who got on radio and TV and told you to live your life in a way consistent with their interpretation of the bible, but as soon as the mics were potted down, the cameras were off, and the money was counted, the good Reverend was out with a hooker, a male prostitute, or spending the money intended for the Lord's work on a lavish lifestyle, etc.

IT IS ALL AN ACT

P.S. look at the campaign finance reports by person, and see how the owners of radio stations such as WRKO that program heavily to the right, give their personal funds to liberal candidates while running Rush Limbaugh 6 days a week

>>give their personal funds to liberal candidates while running Rush Limbaugh 6 days a week

absolutely. Also to give an example of the reverse, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane, a liberal, was asked how Rupert Murdoch felt about having a left-leaning show like that (humor wise) on his network. Seth said
Rupert had no problem: it makes money. And Seth evidently has no problem being on a network seen as
conservative (well, at least Fox News Channel is, and prob the broadcast ch. too). It makes HIM money.

You don't have ONE SOLID FACT to backup your accusation!

>TALK OF TRAINS: Unless Jeff Santos takes the train to work or walks then he's HYPOCRITICAL!!!
>
You have no idea as to whether or not he takes a train!

>JOBS: With the format he brought to that station all being national shows, I'm sure that station had to let go >of employees, so he actually hurt jobs by not being more local progressive talk. HYPOCRITICAL!!!
>
You have absolutely no knowlege of the station's employment situation BEFORE OR AFTER the change-over!

>UNIONS: IBEW is a paid advertiser. How many of Jeff's employees are part of a union? At a pay for time >station how many are even full-time? AGAIN HYPOCRITICAL!!!
>
And do you KNOW this???

>HEALTHCARE: Promotes Tuft's on the air. How many of Jeff's employees (or referring to last statement), employees of the station have Tuft's Healthcare? I'm gonna guess 1.....that being Jeff Santos! VERY HYPOCRITICAL!!!
>
NOBODY HAS TO HAVE TUFTS HEALTHCARE IN ORDER TO ALLOW THEM TO ADVERTISE!!!!!!!!
>
>He doesn't listen to us as progressive's! He doesn't exemplify our virtues!
>
No, sir, you are not a progressive. You are a conservative.

MR. FPB I know more than you think I know!

For example Jeff lives in my building at the Reserve. So not possible to take a train when its a 2 minute walk to the water where the station and restaurants are. When you listen to your/Jeff's advertising spot of this place you/he words it like he doesn't live there. Why is that?????

You sir cannot back up your accusation that I am a conservative. I am the furthest thing from the "Right". Is it just because I have a differing opinion than you? Is it really just because I don't support trains to any degree that you do?

>Is it just because I have a differing opinion than you? Is it really just because I don't support trains to any >degree that you do?
>
Who said I support trains?????

>For example Jeff lives in my building at the Reserve. So not possible to take a train when its a 2 minute walk
>
But in your first post you said:
>TALK OF TRAINS: Unless Jeff Santos takes the train to work or walks then he's HYPOCRITICAL!!!
>
So, you KNOW he walks to work, but you accuse him of being hypocritcal if he doesn't?????

>When you listen to your/Jeff's advertising spot of this place you/he words it like he doesn't live there. Why is >that?
>
Because he's running AN ADVERTISEMENT. Do you not understand the difference?????????

You're right!!!!
I don't understand you AT ALL!!!

I'm finished here. Lots of luck.
