for someone who was the worst prompter reader in boston tv history, she was there a very long time as an anchor. i guess the new management didn't really care to find out if she could hack it as a general assignment reporter so they just cut her. lisa hughes is probably next to go if feb sweeps don't show any growth for 4.
 
Sounds like her husband will have to grab another job to make up for the financial slack!! Either that or they can become a "weekend" husband and wife. She might get picked up by another local station, but if she doesn't, hubby has too much going on in Boston to just leave if she gets picked up by a far away station.

She's back on Fox25 as the new weekend anchor at 10pm tomorrow night.
I guess the pressure is off Felgie. He doesn't have to bust his butt by working
every sports job in Boston to cover the bills.

New management refers to station's management not ownership. ND Jeff Kiernan was brought in last September from WCCO in Minnie. GM Ed Piette also came from WCCO a year earlier. These two must dig those wholesome looking plain styled vanilla delivery put me to sleep already strictly decaff news anchors like Jack Williams, Lisa Hughes, Jon Elias, Dawn Hasbrouck, Ken Macleod, Dave Wade,etc.

'wood seemed to be very comfortable on Fox 25's news set a couple times I saw her. Looks like a good fit for her.
