Sarah Palin Reality Show On Discovery Channel? You Betcha!

...a whole lot of people will be vomiting if they happen to surf by the channel? :D

This is apparently a documentary series that is being widely misreported as a reality show.
I do not think you are going to see any half-naked contestants trying to outrun polar
bears or trucks plunging through ice or anything.

Depending on what Sarah says or does on the show, it's not out of the realm of possibility... :D

Good plan if it keeps her out of politics. Now if they could do a show with Scott Brown and Michelle Bachmann posing in bathing suits on the ice if any ice is left. Maybe they can find a palm tree in Anchorage.

Why are they giving this half-wit a reality show presumably about nature, geology and the like? I have a feeling we will get a repeat of such winners as "you can see Russia from Alaska" and more opinion about climate change, the age of the universe and other topics that scientists do not disagree, but with which Sarah Palin and her ilk do disagree.

My point being, how does Sarah Palin get a show about science when her belief system has a clear disdain for science?

Well put. She simply should have said, "thanks but no thanks." ;D

Apparently this show will have an audience, because G.W. Bush has dropped off the radar, and the derangement has to be redirected at someone. ::)

I guess she's branching out - hey, it's possible for someone to work for more than one broadcaster/cable network, right? Look at Ryan Seacrest. ;D

Meanwhile, it appears that the show is indeed going to get the green light on TLC:

As suspected in my original post, I didn't think it would be the kind of show that would be geared toward Discovery's viewers. Caribou Barbie will fit right in with Jon & Kate.

She'll fit well with the tatoo shows, the (very) fat people shows, the surprise baby shows, etc. Discovery already had zero class, so nothing will change...

It won't last. I don't think it's gonna last...

From what I read, they're honoring an eight-episode order, and I think because it's a "docu-series" all about Alaska, it may be eight episodes, no matter what. Of course, you never know, Discovery could turn around and order an extension at any time. Hell, "Nurse Jackie" got the green light for a new season after only one episode aired this season!

How can Palin Be on Discovery if she is doing Fox news at the same time. I thought National Geographic TV is partially managed by Fox. and Discovery is under its own ownership.
