Sarah Palin To Radio?

Have you listened to any of her speeches? For one thing, her voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard, and for another thing, she just rambles incoherently, throwing in a mention of "the troops" every so often to satisfy her fans.

The powers that be and people with a particular world view "doth protest too much" when it comes to anything Sarah Palin.

It's absolutely obvious that fear has gripped them all. Go Sarah go!

As long as she has someone writing her lines for her (like @ the convention) she should be OK ...but if she doesn't, well just look at first resignation speech and her tweets since shes left office ....Shatner will be Conan's co-host when she gets her radio show.

Not to worry VSA, they'll keep reacting from an emotional point of view, so we'll always have them in a corner where they belong.

Of course I would listen! In addition to her obvious political experience, there is the real-world experience of a wife and mother to add to be considered. She's not just another scripted teleprompter reader like our dear Obama.

Her show will play well in rural markets, where the "Real Americans" theme still resonates. Beating up on "mainstream media" is popular and quick tag lines like "Drill, Baby, Drill" and "Run, Sarah, Run" work as memorable. Less likely to work in major metropolitan markets, where her lack of viable experience is seen as a detriment.

She is just too good looking for radio. 8)

Yes, people are running around scared that Sarah is a Muslim, not born in America, and is going to take away their guns. Oh wait...

Being a wife and mother is so rare these days. ::)

She's not just another scripted teleprompter reader like our dear Obama.

I know! She isn't even a newspaper reader!

...she won't go anywhere in radio for the same reason Ken Hamblin has been persona non grata to syndicators in the last seven years or so -- they just don't like quitters!!! ;-) ...

All joking aside, it still could work. Remember Bill Bennett is Salem's morning act, and she could easily fit in there, or TRN, who still employs Monica Crowley, hands down one of the WORST talk hosts in America (KGIL had enough and replaced her with Jerry Doyle, thank God!)
