Sat Problems

I had trouble all day today trying to change stations. When I did, it would just load forever and hardly ever came in. Any word of any Sat problems that may have caused this?Anyone else experiencing this today?

Need more info.

What service? Were you having weather at the time?

For the record, no problems here in AZ with DirecTV.

About midday, here in SE Pennsylvania, I had some trouble getting a strong enough signal on my Inno. No weather to speak of, generally a sunny day, and I haven't had to futz with the antenna in quite some time. When "The Virus" started pixelating and eventually bounced me to Channel 1, I did aforementioned futzing a bit and now it is fine.

No weather, nothing out of the way. Simply no matter what channel I tried to tune, the Xpress that I've owned for 3 yrs just wouldn't load. Then yesterday afternoon, it appeared to be okay. All channels, no terrain problems. Was told long ago sometimes XM had Sat problems that may cause that.

The thing is that if no one else had problems, it can't be a sat problem. If Joe Blow in Kansas is having no problems and you are, that means there is no sat problem- its a problem with your equipment. So many people come on to the internet boards and ask or assume there is a problem with the satellites when they have reception problems, there are millions of people with the service and if they are not experiencing what you are, there is a problem somewhere else- repeaters, antennas or receivers.
