Satellite frequencies?

Just curious....does anyone know what sort of frequency satellite radio operates on? Is it anything like conventional FM frequencies?

Sirius & XM share 25 MHz of bandwidth, 12.5 Mhz of bandwidth each.
Sirius is 2.32-2.3325 GHz
XM is 2.3325-2.345 GHz
Worldspace has 25 Mhz of bandwidth, 1.467GHz-1.492 GHz
MobaHO also has 25 Mhz bandwidth, 2.630-2.655 GHz

Worldspace uses their extra bandwidth for "distance education" programs.
MobaHO is using theirs to provide from seven to nine TV channels for portable, PDA-style wireless devices.
