During that time period, the satellite will be passing over Canada and Africa, as well as vast areas of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans. The risk to public safety is very remote."
If it lit up the sky over Canada there would be spectacular "metor" skip!
Can't tell from the above but it would seem that a Canada fall would have started around 11:45 PM EDT.
