Finally the E-Skip season is with us. Friday there was a lot of TV skip for the last day of analog TV... which I had to miss because of work.
Saturday, midday and afternoon there was a lot of teasing on FM, with a few previous logs putting in brief appearances, from FL, LA, and MS.
Then things got better between abouty 5:40 and 6:40pm, with four new logs from the Gulf Coast area, including Florida, Mississippi, and Texas. Texas was Sunny-99.1 (KODA) from Houston, my fourth most-distant FM ever (1471 miles). Also had an unID classical on 92.5.
Now late Saturday evening it looks like there's some skip activity out toward the West coast. Hoping for more here in the East Sunday.
