Saturday morning radio....

Anyone else on here have occasion to listen to any radio on Saturday morning?

"Get Outdoors Texas" on KLIF...? I've caught it several times over the last month or so and it's mildly amusing every once in a while but really just an hour-long infomercial to sell boats it seems. Anyone know Franklin Pillsbury, Jay Pleshay (???) or Bron Peel?

And switching around this morning finding not much else I ran across John Clay Weenus's show on the Eagle. U.U.U.G.G.G.H.H.H. Not funny or entertaining. Seriously, what kind of witty tales can a car jockey from Vernon have after all? He did mention the Greggo thing and even admitted Williams wasn't around because of the fall-out but he kept saying over the air that he could come on up to the studio at any time and join the show in progress if he wanted to. Weird. Why the Hell is that show on 97.1 of all places? It sounded quality and content-wise like something that would originated from a small market like Wichita Falls.

And, he kept mentioning "Turley"..................the same Turley that use to associate with KLLI?

On Saturdays I listen to Wheels with Ed Wallace on KLIF.

He's on throughout the morning until 1pm, it's a good show.

JCW is hands down the most promising talent in DFW market radio we have seen in years. PPM and PD talk agrees. JCW Haters on this board are either jealous, or concerned about getting run over by the loaded wolf train that is coming.

Bron Beal grew up in Lewisville, played QB for the Fightin' Farmers and then the NTSU Mean Green (lettered in 85, 6, 7 & 8 ). He is currently the Executive Director at Dallas Boat Show, Inc. hence the outdoors/boating connection. http://www.linkedin.com/pub/bron-l-beal/b/a91/586

Mike Turley was BDH's producer of the WAC all the way back to the days of the little Ticket before BDH was banished to lesser frequencies and has produced other programs since then.

Early morning KRLD-AM. Some financial show telling you about a "winning" formula to pick stocks. Anyone catch the Co-hosts fake Australlian accent?

KERA ALL FRICKIN' DAY on Saturday...I pop in to Neil Sperry on WBAP on occasion and to KRLD during that boring splendit table or whatever its called.

Morning edition, Car Talk, and then the awesome last hour of the Orphanage gets me through the honey-do list nicely. During pledge season, Tee Box and Orphanage and maybe a bit of Inside Sports Medicine.
