Saturday night KYXY disco

Does anyone know what happened to KYXY's Saturday night disco show? Now it seems to be some syndicated "love songs" crap....

Or has it fallen victim to the corporate suits deciding what their audience wants? I sent an e-mail to KYXY's program director via their website and didn't get a response....CRUDE. Of course, listening to Free FM 103.7 I guess it is power for the course.

I swear...is this supposed to be entertainment: two or three community college drop outs cackling at each other for hours on end and being crude? I can see Infinity's programming brainiacs have been busy.

As previously reported, the host of the program, Art Michaels, was hurt in an accident. His return to air is still a few months off.<P ID="signature">______________

And there is no one to replace him with all of the unemployed radio people in San Diego?

The show was meant as a temp summer replacement.

No offense, but..

How do you know this?
Do you work there, or know someone who does?

Yes...and was mentioned throughout it's run. "A summer replacement for Saturday Love songs..."a special summer feel good feature"

No offense taken...I'm not one of the rude ones on here that automatically jump down your throat.

It is/was popular in the gay community.

More information than I need to know. Hey let
the guy heal, why should he be replaced? An
accident is bad enough.

That's a strange thing to say...if not a bit phobic, dear friend?????

Perhaps you have not heard of, "sitting in for so-and-so..."

Then perhaps you should go for the gig..get a life
or maybe you should start your own gay friendly
disco show.
