Saul Levine Is Fired Up for AM HD

Southern California has a new classical music radio format. It is on the AM dial. And it is broadcasting in HD Radio hybrid mode.

It is a particular combination — classical music, AM and HD Radio — that you aren’t likely to encounter much. But then again veteran SoCal indy broadcaster Saul Levine has never been one to do what everyone else is doing.

Let’s see where this station is at in 5 years, or where AM radio is at in 5 years or for that matter where HD Radio is at in 5 years. Meanwhile streaming will just get bigger now with the birth of 5G technology, in 5 years it will be bigger then all of the above. I totally agree, the Oldies streams that sound better are the ones not tied to over-the-air radio. The ones exclusively that are internet streaming only.
