SAVAGE back to WPRO 10/23

I found a site and scrolled over his picture and WPRO was listed for 9-12mid.Sorry I googled Micheal Savage. It was the top link.Scroll your mouse over his picture and a window pops up with WPRO and a few other stations.I have one thing to say..

Thank You!..This Batchelor guy bores me to death on my way home from work.

The WND site has it. I imagine this means Batchelor back to 790 exclusively & WPRO's "The New Sound" Batchelor promos have been pulled. Now if Cumulus could get another overnight show. Red Eye Radio is torture. I put on WSAR for Phil Hendrie when I'm driving to work at 3:30A.M. as it's the best show on at that time, unless WSM or WGN come in.

DUMB MOVE BY CUMUlLUS-PROV.

Hard to believe they will put the Savage nation on low power and low rated 790am . He was on WPRO for at least 9 or 10 years. PRO and 997fm have at least 10 times the coverage area of 790. In my opinion the only way I would relegate Savage to 790 would be for a local show not the boring NPR clone that now airs. I wish someone calls Matt Allen as his show winds down and ask him who he will listen to on his drive home.

Low-powered isn't true. Both 630 and 790 are 5,000 watt class B's with 2 tower arrays. The day patterns are nearly identical, with different night patterns. The signal isn't a problem on 790, it's the programming.

If you live in North Kingstown or south 997 saves the day 630 comes in weak and 790 is barely audible after sunset when Savage is on

Did 790 run it? The sites for both WPRO and WPRV list John Batchelor in the slot

Savage was on 790 from 9pm-midnight. The signal isn't as clear or strong in my area as WPRO which kind of sucks.

The production was pretty bare bones and odd...not as smooth as when he was on months ago. I read in a news story on WND.com that TRN was censoring him, something that I thought his producer was doing...Savage would go off about Israel or another sensitive topic and the show would cut out for three or four seconds, then come back as if Savage didn't know he was off the air.

Strange that they just didnt put him back on WPRO/WEAN..Still better than John Batchelor.WTKK airs John Batchelor too.I work 2nd shift and on my way home.Nothing good to listen too.If I have to settle for 790WPRV. So be it. I guess.

Yes, that is strange. His show would also get pre-empted by the Skankees come March/April for night games. Weird.
