Savage sick

He says he had some medical problems, he should have followed up with his idea of having a co-host and 5 "characters" Remember he asked for audition tapes? Art Bell was able to farm out his show, and still make a buck on it. Savage too much of an ego I guess.

Would Mike in Shreveport be able to keep 8.25 million listeners?

Probably not. A high number of stations air Savage on delay, so they'd replace it with another successful show on delay if Savage went away. Those stations which air Savage live will probably end up doing the same, or dig up a show done by a certain dead president's son which airs live at the same time as Savage.

Is he going to throw in the towel?

Michael Reagan is a non-entity. His weekend recap show got a few clears and some fanfare at first, but now it's dead, too. I think WIND and KFYI both dropped it, and KDWN dumped his weekday clear when BBGI took over. As did the insignificant KLAA/LA just recently. Can't think of anywhere big he's on right away.

Both XM and Sirius dropped him for 2 hours on weekdays and put Mark Levin on from 6-8. This was after ABC/Citadel's satellite talk channel was dropped and each company had to save the hosts.
