Savage sues his own syndication co. TRN!!

Savage is still live on KPAM/860 in Portland, though it's very much a second-tier talker.

Heck, maybe third-tier or even fourth, if you count KEX/1190, KPOJ/620 and KXL/750 above them.

Can anyone confirm if he is actually doing live programs this week?

Hrm, looks like TRI did this morning:

Michael Savage was behind his TRN mike, despite his lawsuit attempting to escape the renewal that syndicator TRN insists is valid.

Just heard of a BIG top 10 market that will be dropping Savage all together soon. Seems the strength of his brand is weakening quite a bit.

Perhaps TRN would be better off letting him go...save the money...invest on new talent. If Boyce is truly the talent scout he has claimed to be all these years let's see who he can find.

Is it Atlanta or Boston ??

Boyce is out to destroy Savage and he is doing a good job at that.

Anyone know what has happened with this. I hear Savage on the air and it sounds like all is normal and he is still on TRN.

All I know is that WSB in ATL dropped Savage in favor of a local show and Dave Ramsey. He has since been picked up 9P-Mid on WGST...which is the equivalent to being dark in Atlanta.

WSB will regret dropping Savage, watch the ratings in 2 months.

Yes he is but GST operates with 50,000 watts of power during the daytime when Limbaugh is on , but only 1,000 watts of power during nighttime hours , and thats the time Savage is on.

Any updates on the lawsuit?

I get the feeling that most stations feel his show fits in better sometime between 6PM and midnight. This fits in well on the east coast when his show is live from 6-9PM but not on the west coast so he has challenges getting stations to carry him live on the west coast.

He is probably trying to find someone who will carry him live in his hometown but is not getting too much traction chasing that.
