Savannah area storm coverage: Where was it?

I heard squat on the radio about the storms & the blackout, except for the EAS stuff. WSAV-TV did a decent job in coverage.

Did radio not do a thing? I heard nothing. Columbia & Charleston stations stepped up. No such luck in Slowvannah. Big surprise. ::)

I've got to hand it to WZAT (the newly christened Mix 102-1). I was listening to the station late last night after I got home from work and Ray Steele from their sister station News/Talk 630 WBMQ was interrupting programming every 15 minutes or so to give updates.

107.9 was doing updates every 10 minutes or less from 10:30 to about 12:30. I stopped listening after that.

There was no admission to how many stations run unmanned. Just a statement that some are unmanned. But let's face it, that is not a surprise to anyone and has been going on for 10 years or more.
