If it weren't for programming programming programming, there would be no stations worth anything to sell sell sell. Its a double edged sword that ends up stabbing some people. Its a cycle! While yes...you can't make any money without people on the streets, you can't be on the streets at all without promotions (rumor has it that was one of the depts. gutted at CC Sav) and its sorta pointless being on the streets with your station is an embarassment (read Z102).
But then again, when you don't image properly...it doesn't matter.
Same goes for comm production.
And if you engineer doesn't show up to work and you're off the air, why bother.
Or if your receptionist is MIA, or doesn't learn the names to the staff...deals can't be brokered.
What about business? Whatever they do, I'm sure its important...cause without them, sales could sell until they're blue in the face, but no one would get their paychecks.

During the day, there are a total of 24 airshifts (AMD, MD, PMD, EV x 6 stations) at CC Savannah...last I knew, they were live and local half that, or 12 shifts (AMD on WTKS, River and SOK (3), MD on Kiss, River, Beat, and Love (4), PMD on Kiss, River, and Beat, and EV on Kiss and Beat (2)). Which is a hell of alot better than some other clusters, in or out of CC.
