Savannah Radio Ratings from Spring 2013

http://ratings.****************/cgi-bin/rol.exe/arb285

Rock 106 has been taking a nose dive. Not sure of the problem. Can Savannah NOT handle a modern rock station or is Rock 106 being ran poorly? Always thought it was one of the best programmed modern rock stations in the area.

The Beat has topped E 93. When was the last time E 93 was not the number one station in Savannah?

Can someone please step to the line and give support to why Cumulus decided to take the cities strongest signal and give it a format that is literally at the bottom of the ratings (literally, no exaggeration here).

Well, 106 is more Active with a sprinkling of modern. I've more & more voicetracking, even during PM drive. If Kotter is live, it doesn't sound like it. He sounds distracted....or taped. Same with Buzz. Other specialty programming may not hurting as well, such as their Saturday night metal shows (which I love), as well as carrying all FIVE hours of Lex & Terry (that has to stop yesterday). But they still have the tools & time to right that ship, as it is a more compelling rock product that I-95 will ever be.

E dropping a spot isn't a surprise to me. It's my understanding that 102 is getting paid (relative) big bucks to be GA Southern's flagship station, hence the move to sports. In the future, possible stations on 99.3 & 100.5 may be able to fill the need & allow ZAT to return to music programming. I'd also have to imagine that it's rather cheap to run sports vs. a music format.

Suprised WQBT is #1. It has become a cookie cutter Premium Choice Urban station. E93 has had audio problems for quite some time, a BIG turn off for me maybe for alot. They really haven't been the powerhouse they used to be Since Doug Banks went Urban AC. I think more are listening to Steve Harvey on WQBT(a move i thought was a bad idea at first). and lil G leaving as PD probably didn't help either. a few years back WLVH Love 101.1 was #1 but that didn't last after Gary Young left and they have become a Premium Choice Urban AC.

Rcombs Please fix E93's audio It was distorting and breaking up bad recently.
