Savannah Ratings Fall 13

Never thought I would see the day where E93 would drop the market lead for another station. It's obvious that the hip hop war is on. Country radio variety in Savannah is killing WJCL.

Rock 1061 rebound from it's recent drop. Rock 106.1 one of the few successful active rock stations in the country. Most have either changed formats altogether or have leaned more alternative.

WRHQ not reporting? I wonder why.

WAEV doing well. Is any of their program even local? Haven't kept up with them in a while.

WZAT still a waste.

WIXV - Ha! Station ratings have dropped significantly. Recent drop of John Boy and Billy has hurt them so bad that they have removed comment options on their facebook. This is the ONLY radio station that I've ever seen do that before. Either they are going to have to expand their library and back off the "heritage rock" or the Savannah rock legend could be in trouble.

Thoughts?
 
By the way, am I the only one confused with the slogan 104.7 The Hawk uses? Greatest Hits? Usually "Greatest Hits" are used for oldies stations or stations that play 60's, 70's, 80's pop gold stuff including disco and motown. I streamed this station a few nights ago and it sounds like straight classic rock to me. Pretty good variety of classic rock which digs deep. Might explain why 95 is hurting so bad.
