Savannah - WFXH Names A New PD

I hope the irony of someone coming to HHI from Ohio isn't lost on anyone. This station he's coming from seems to be a standard CC alt rocker...nothing too spectacular, but maybe he'll bring some fresh ideas to the table. We'll see.

I certainly hope he does as well.

At this point with the station doing so well, alls he gotta do is "stay the course"

And we know how well that's doing elsewhere, don't we ;D

Honest to god, WXEG isn't that bad of a station. Reminds me of my hometown active rocker in Richmond, VA, WRXL.

Fresh ideas. The two words aren't mutually exclusive and I'd really love to see Boomer be given a chance to make the station grow by leaps and bounds. You can't move a muscle very far in a box and hopefully, playlist and programming-wise, he won't be.

(I guess I'll just continue listening to Q105.3 until I notice a change in WFXH. But from the way things have been going, I and others will continue to wait and bide our time listening to WRHQ.)

Well, today's the big day. I wonder if we'll hear him live in afternoon drive. I'm also going to look for tweaks in the playlist.
