Save your UPN/WB memorabilia!

Now that those two networks are fading into history with the new CW starting this fall (see the National board for details), UPN/WB stuff might be worth money someday. Imagine what you could get for something with an old DuMont logo...

And to make this on-topic...now that WWOR 9 in NY/NJ is going indy again, let's hope for their programming to go back to the way it was in the early 90s (I don't miss the RKO days...some of the programming then was OK, but most was boring).

I have a VHS promo tape for WB-22(Seattle/Tacoma) for shows premiering in the fall of '98. I think I still have a VHS recording of the premiere of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"(original 2 hour airing)from '97 with the WB opening promo.
______________

I have a copy of the TV Guide from the premiere week for both networks, mainly because of it also being the premiere of Star Trek Voyager as well. I remember there was an ad for UPN that had one of the 3D pictures that you had to blur your vision in order to see on the back cover, and the image was the original UPN logo.
Edited by ccmfan on 01/27/06 05:56 AM.

Which markets are those? Were they markets where UPN was on a LPTV or cable-only channel?
______________

In 1995, when UPN debuted, they included a bag of microwave popcorn with a label advertising UPN and the "Voyager" debut. A friend actually saved that bag instead of popping it...that might be worth something today!
