Saw something strange today

I was driving on Route 93 south in Concord NH approx 4:30 pm tonight and a late model Chevrolet Impala with Mass license plates passed me. The car was wrapped with Pulse 101.7 "News, Talk, Sports" The kind of looked like a "Street Team" type vehicle Any other stations licensed in Mass on that frequency and/or is this a sign of things to come?

Are you sure about the frequency? It was probably 107.7 The Pulse. It's a small class A station serving the Manchester/Concord area. I just looked it up to be sure:

Hmmm now that you have me second guessing myself...But...If its a NH station, why would the company vehicle have a Ma registration on the car which I'm 100% sure of...

I'm sure that CC would have registered domain names if they already had put together a vehicle for 101.7 to be called The Pulse. I checked out some domain names and the following are NOT registered:

1017thepulse.com
thepulse1017.com
pulsefm1017.com
1017pulsefm.com
1017talk.com
talk1017.com
1017pulse.com

However, pulse1017.com IS registered, but by the owners of 99.5 WPUL in Winterset, Iowa (http://pulse995.com) The Wikipedia entry says they may move to 101.7 FM. Anyway, no hints that I can see yet! I don't know of an easy way to check for new domain name registrations in listing form, but if you can think of any possible names for CC's new 101.7, you can check taken domain names using the Internet's original registrar (before deregulation) Network Solutions WHOIS search:

http://www.networksolutions.com/whois

If anyone finds something in there investigating, please do post your speculations here! :D

Added Note: As I was typing this reply, Joseph_Gallant beat me to the post on commenting on that Iowa station ;)

I was also just thinking... it would have been extremely amusing to register talk1017.com under a private registration so that you cannot see the owner, then to setup hosting placing a Photoshopped logo of Talk 1200 to say Talk 101.7 Boston and put "Coming Soon" under it. I ruined it now, but it would have been fun to watch all the speculation on here after someone found it. :)
