Last week, Entravision took the Cucuy off all its stations. 8 of them picked up Piolín en la Mañana from Univision and several others, like Phoenix, Las Vegas, etc., simply dumped him.

Didn't Univision essentially steal Piolin from Entravision in the first place, following Cucuy's departure from KSCA?

No. Piolin was a free agent when he left Entravision. Renán did not leave KSCA for over 13 months after Piolin arrived; Piolin did mornings while El Cucuy did afternoons until he was dismissed.

I know, because I watch Boomerang.

But enough off topic material for here. Wonder how much longer SBS will put up with him. He isn't doing much for KLAX.<P ID="signature">______________

His only large market stations left are KLAX, KRZZ and KMMM in Fresno. This is down from abut 25 affiliates last year. The ratings are abysmal, except in LA and SF, where he is still second to Piolin en la Mañana.
