After six seasons and 132 episodes, Lifetime and Sony announced on Friday(October 28th) that "Strong Medicine" will not return for a seventh season despite the show's high ratings for this season. No date has been given for the finale but it will be early next year.

Well, being that I WORK at Lifetime, I do know the show...sometimes I am behind the master control board airing it :). Without saying TOO much the show, IMHO the show jumped the shark when the pairing of two women doctors (Janine Turner/Patricia Richardson with Rosa Blasi) was broken.

Let me bring these up to my boss for the next quarterly meeting! At LEAST provide the beer! Some crystal meth would help during "Babycakes" with Ricki Lake! LOL
