Saying goodbye to another...

I just wanted to tell everyone that we are losing another of our on air talents! But as much as we hate to lose him... it's a great move up for him. DJ the DJ (simplyDJ) is leaving us and going to do PMD in his home town of Mobile AL. He is going to be on Alabama 106 FM plus doing some sports on their other stations. DJ has only been in the business for less than a year so this is a great break for him. I am sure he will do great for them and will continue to grow in the industry. Hate to see him go, but wish him the best and hope that he goes and makes a name for himself.
We are looking for a good part time person. If you're intrested, let me know.
thanks
joe

Saying hello

Hey Joe...

Sorry 'bout taking your guy, but we needed him. He'll certainly have the chance to learn all aspects of the radio business. With a little luck, he'll grasp the right way to "it". If it can be done wrong, I've done it, so he'll have all my experience to bounce things off of. That's why they call me a rubberhead!

To the rest, The Radio Center stations...Bama 106, Dixie 94.5 and WRJX, are tickled to welcome Doug Boswell to the party. He'll be directing our local news effort, and otherwise serving as a jack of all trades...a little air work, a little production, some sales, and even an occasional laying of hands on this worthless, piece of (BLEEP) AM transmitter! HEAL!
