B Nation Radio has announced a new show featuring NBA Hall of Famer, Elvin Hayes. In the Post "Big E", along with co-host Joe George, will provide interviews and analysis from all the biggest newsmakers in college and pro basketball.

"I am looking forward to pairing my experience with the talented voices at SB Nation Radio," said Hayes. "It's like the night we won the NBA Championship, I am E-Lated!"

In 1968, Elvin Hayes and the Houston Cougars defeated the UCLA Bruins by a score of 71-69. In front of a near capacity crowd at the Houston Astrodome, the Cougars snapped the Bruins 47 game winning streak. Hayes scored 39 points in the contest that many refer to as the greatest college basketball game of all time. After being selected first overall in the 1968 NBA Draft, Hayes embarked on a sixteen year playing career that included twelve all-star game appearances. Hayes was named to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team.

"I'm absolutely thrilled to have Elvin Hayes on the network," said Craig Larson, PD/COO of SB Nation Radio. "There are very few athletes who have made an impact on a particular city more than Elvin has for Houston. His combination of grace and charm are as present on radio as they have always been on the hardwood."

"I have always been a big fan of Elvin Hayes," said David Gow, CEO of SB Nation Radio and Gow Media. "Even though I was a just a young child, I'll never forget his performance in The Game of the Century. It's a great honor to have him on SB Nation Radio."

The new show debuts at midnight ET on Saturday, December 3rd and replays on Sunday mornings at 5am ET. In the Post can also be downloaded or streamed via www.podcastarena.com.

Heres a podcast show coming December 3rd.
